Playing Sunday Night, into the morning!
After dinner lots of people hung out at the bar and twisted. Rumor is that they took over the bar until the wee hours of the morning... Here are my higlights... (mostly of Ed =0)

  Sunday Dinner!
Here are some pix of Sunday night's dinner. Made famous by the moritorioum on saying the word "balloon." Anyone who said balloon, or any of the agreed apon "bad words" like latex, balloon in a foreign language (and so on) had to pony up one quarter per transgression.

by the end of the evening we had collected over $70.00! The waitstaff reaped the spoils!

  Stop talking so much--more pix!
Okey dokey!!!

(BTW there are no pix of my Adult Balloon Class on this site. Did not really take any! Oh well...)
Day 2 of Twist & Shout!
Hello all! Having a blast at twist & shout. Twisted many animals and such. My last post (below) contains more photos.

The Balloon Olympics, held last evening was a lot of fun. As I am an instructor, I was team leader for table 4. We almost won! If only we passed the trivia quiz. Other events included: the group sculpture made with only the provided balloons (some are pictured below); blowing & tying a balloon with only one hand; a speed balloon contest using old, old balloons; blowing a balloon until it burst, only after you have eaten 7 saltines; making a single balloon animal while blindfolded (was judged on beauty); and a couple more events which I can't remember.

My Adult Balloon class was held last night and it was very well attended, we had 71 people there! Awesome. We are teaching again tonite, I do not expect a large turnout like last night, but we will see.

Went to Dave Bartlett's class yesterday, loved it, he is so funny. I recommend catching any workshop he does, if you can. Have not been able to see many more workshops as I have been busy with my own class and all, but tomorrow I plan on at least catching a couple of them.

Wish you were here!

  Twistin & Shoutin already
My fiancee Edmund and myself arrived at Twist & Shout yesterday evening, and we went out for a sedate dinner with eight people including Patty, Royal, David Grist, Glenna, Chris and Don (sorry, wish I had a pic, but I don't)

Today Edmund and I got up late, went for lunch at Kelly's Roast Beef and did some shopping.

This evening we went out to dinner with about 50 of the early convention attendees. We ate at a Brazillian Restaruant and it was yummy, unless you happened to be a vegetarian. Fortunately I am not, and neither is Ed. They kept that meat coming--which is a great thing!

The cool thing is that Edmund learned how to twist his first balloon dog and balloon teddy bear, so he can now officially attend the convention. Yeah! (was worried about that one!)

Below are some pix of some of the decoration pieces that were being made (I sense a Pirate theme) the folks at dinner, and Edmund's first tries at twisting balloons!!!

(we might get rid of internet access tomorrow (it is a whopping $10 a day) but if I can I will post later in the week)
  Here at Last!
